We love it when it we're able to build a long-lasting relationship with a client that improves their business. Here are a few we'd like to highlight.
Creative Learning Systems
A pioneer in technology labs for education, Creative Learning Systems builds engaging STEM and digital media programs for elementary, middle and high schools called SmartLabs™.
Goal: Creative Learning Systems (CLS) provides a turnkey solution that is customized for each school. CLS needs to communicate about a specialized product to school administrators and teachers.
Solution: We’ve worked in multiple capacities with CLS since 2005. We had success with search engine optimization in the past, which raised traffic and contact form conversions for CLS. For the latest redesign, we modernized the responsive look and feel while broadening the content. There was a collaborative effort to write content and update the message. CLS had a new video produced to highlight their SmartLab, and this was key to being able to convey what the SmartLab is about. New content pages were added on related topics like STEM and project-based learning to explain concepts, show expertise, and draw traffic.
Results: Website visits are up over 30% compared to a year ago with pageviews up 60%. Almost 50% of new traffic is from organic search. While traffic percentages from desktop, mobile, and tablet are rose, mobile increased 70%. Visit duration is up 42% and bounce rate is down 11%. Conversions are up almost 200% with improved quality of leads. Some of the new content pages are now major entry points. The response from their staff and customers has also been very positive.
Sonny Lubick Steakhouse
A casually elegant restaurant with a modest hometown
attitude where friends and family can enjoy outstanding food, great drinks and
good company, located right in the heart of downtown Fort Collins, Colorado.
Goal: Sonny’s opened up in 2008 during tough economic times in the context of a
very competitive restaurant market.
Solution: We worked with Sonny’s from the very beginning to create a great
website and help quickly establish their identity in the local marketplace. The site showcases their ambiance, food,
location, and their namesake, Sonny Lubick, who is an icon in the community.
Along with Jet Marketing, we combine activities such as search marketing, email newsletters, social media, reputation management,
print media and consistent attention to marketing strategy and tactics into a very effective promotional engine.
Results: Sonny’s has grown, and continues to thrive, having just celebrated
their 5th anniversary. The email newsletter keeps Sonny’s in front of customers
and the list continues to grow. Revenues are strong. It’s a win for everyone!
National Western Stock Show
Known to many as the Super Bowl of Cattle Shows, the National Western Stock Show is a non-profit organization that has been in operation for over 100 years.
Under the banner of "Find Your Western Spirit," the stock show combines history, education and entertainment into an experience that keeps hundreds of thousands
of people coming back year after year. A great portion of the proceeds from the show goes to funding educational scholarships.
Goal: NWSS is one of the most interesting businesses we have worked with thus far. Initially, the goal was to perform a major database upgrade and reprogram many
of their core business applications, including those supporting livestock and horse show management, the Coors Western Art show, trade show, ticket sales and accounting.
As time went on, we then extended those business applications to the web for integrated marketing, custom order forms and e-commerce.
We also did a website redesign a few years ago, did some search engine optimization and managed their email marketing for a time until they hired a full-time person
to do these activities in-house.
Solution: The biggest challenge was to build a common platform that was efficient and highly scalable to be able to handle the high load of traffic and
transactions. We decided to standardize on an ASP.NET web platform and SQL Server for
everything, including the internal business applications and the external e-commerce site and the public website. Adding in good design and usability practices on top of a powerful software-enabled
foundation proved to be the right solution to get the job done.
Results: The design and development work we did achieved a level of efficiency that has empowered the National Western to cut costs and increase revenues over time.
The back-end software streamlined accounting functions, contact management and other data processing activities. The front-end web solutions helped to improve the online
image of the stock show, increase the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and generate efficient online sales. All this, to help NWSS keep pace with modern technology
and modern business practices.
Arbor Family Medicine
A family medical practice with locations in Thornton and Westminster, Colorado. They have been serving patients since 1989.
Goal: We started working with Arbor in 2005. The immediate goals included a redesigned website with responsive elements, reputation management, and ongoing marketing collaboration.
Solution: We went with a design solution that would appeal to both women and men while also being user friendly. We setup ongoing meetings to stay on the same page and make sure we continually move forward. We collected information about reputation online, prioritized, and are working on responses with Arbor.
Results: Both staff and patients are expressing how much they like the new design. Reputation is improving as reviews are responded to and more attention is given to review sites.
Brewery Guides: Fort Collins, Denver, Boulder
Online Brewery Guides for Northern Colorado, the Denver Metro, and the Boulder area.
Goal: Provide an easy-to-use and definitive online mobile-optimized resource to the breweries and tap houses in the primary craft beer cities of Colorado.
Solution: We created and launched the Northern Colorado guide in January 2013 and followed with the Denver and Boulder versions later in the year. We reached out to all the breweries to start a relationship and to supplement our listings with information not available on their website, such as their logos. We wanted to cater to users who are used to using many mediums, so we have a desktop site that has printable route maps available, and a mobile site that is optimized for phones and utilizes their mapping apps.
Results: Based on the website traffic and feedback, the sites are a success. We are happy to be providing a useful service to visitors and local craft beer lovers. As of July 2014, our Fort Collins site is getting over 16,000 visits a month!
